BMW Introduces Third Generation X5

297frp8954__midBMW’s third generation X5 production formally started on Thursday, August 1st, 2013. The first car that came out of the assembly line was a mineral white, six-cylinder inline diesel engine, empowered by M Performance M50d.

X5 is famous for its superior quality and enhanced features; manufactured at Spartanburg plant, the beauty enjoys a worldwide fame, and has a huge demand especially in the European region. The third generations’ first model with Nappa Mocha leather interior was sent out to a dealer in Eastern Europe.

The third generation BMW X5 is marked by superior standards, cutting edge design and luxurious interior. The car also features enhanced driving pleasure and sporty looks. The latest model has been phenomenally upgraded from its previous model; it has a twin circular headlight mounted into a kidney grill, while taut surfaces and the swag line over the elegant wheel arches are a real treat for the eyes.

The rear window supports aero blades, air breathers and air curtains, which elevates the overall look to another level. It must be noted that this is the only BMW car that supports an Active Steering technology, contemplated by active roll stabilization and electronic damping control, which will give the drivers a new driving experience.

The X5 is highly fuel efficient, as the factors such as weight minimization, engine technology and optimized air guidance system combined with an automatic eight-speed gear box help to reduce the fuel consumption.

This monster is powered by state-of -the-art BMW engines, available in 7 variants both diesel and petrol. BMW X5 xDrive50i, BMW X5 xDrive30d and BMW X5 M50d. While in December this year; BMW X5 xDrive40d, BMW X5 xDrive35i, BMW X5 xDrive25d and BMW X5 sDrive25d will be added to the family.

BMW’s second generation X5 produced from 2006 to 2013 at Spartanburg holds the honor becoming factory’s bestselling vehicle; it is believed that the third generation will break all previous records.
