Vehicle Recall! 2013 Dodge Challenger Recalled For Fire Hazzard

dodge challenger

Chrysler issued a vehicle recall on their 3013 Dodge Challenger, V6. The vehicles have a wiring harness that could potentially short circuit and cause fire. Chrysler is encouraging the owners of these vehicles built from November 2012 through January 2013 to contact their local Chrysler dealers immediately. They are advising drivers not to operate the vehicle, and not to park in or near any buildings for safety reasons. Chrysler is estimating around 2500 potentially affected Challengers are owned with this issue and another 1900 are still sitting on dealer lots. The estimated number of vehicles being recalled is close to 4500. To date, Chrysler says that seven fires have been reported, although none resulted in any serious injury. Owners can contact their local dealers to find out if their car is included in the recall. Information regarding the manufactured date can also be found on the driver’s door jam.
