BMW Introduces Emergency Vehicle Range at RETTmobil 2013

RETTmobil 2013BMW has been making sure that they make their presence felt at every auto event happening across the world and now BMW Group has said that they will be presenting a wide range of vehicles that made for emergency situations at the RETTmobil trade show happening in Fulda. BMW Group said that they are also into making emergency vehicles that various agencies and firms can use and this trade show will be the right opportunity for them to display their range of vehicles. The company said that they have seven different models that will be available at the event for the consumers.

The company said that this concept of emergency vehicle is not just an idea of BMW Group but they are also working in close collaboration with various specialists from respective public authorities and institutions that help them to come up with better vehicles. BMW said that the new BMW X6 M50d is designed as a medical car for the racetrack while BMW X3 will be the fire brigade command vehicle at the main entrance. The all new BMW X1 will be the First Responder. The company said that they will use BMW 3 Series Touring as emergency vehicle service cars and BMW 5 Series Touring vehicle for fire brigade command vehicle.

BMW also said that all these cars will also have special equipments and options that will make them productive and allow the car to be more functional. The car will also offer better safety and comfort and will also have some modifications in the interior to make it available for emergency services. All the cars will also have the BMW ConnectedDrive that will allow the emergency service staff to make proper use of the traffic updates and road information on time. These cars will have lightweight construction that also affects the fuel economy in the future.
