Mazda Brings New 2013 Cars to Johannesburg International Motor Show

Mazda New CX-5Johannesburg has been attracting lot of car enthusiasts with the 2013 Johannesburg International Motor Show that is happening in the city. Mazda Motor Corporation has been participating at the event and they have decided to roll out some of the latest cars that they have in their kitty for the consumers. Mazda Southern Africa Ltd said that they will introduce three new next generation vehicles at the event apart from CX-5 compact crossover powertrain lineup. The event will also have Mazda’s flagship sedan Mazda6 and Mazda3 that will be available in hatchback and compact sedan. The automaker revealed that all the cars that will be displayed at the event will be available for sale in 2014 for South African car market.

Mazda said that they are really excited about the show and they believe that South Africa is the right market for them to launch and promote these new cars that have their next generation technology that they call SkyActiv Technology. All the new cars also have the new KODU – Soul of Motion design theme that makes the car look sleek and stylish and performance oriented. The new design concept also boosts the fuel economy and offers better driving dynamics to the driver.

CX-5 that was first introduced to the South Africa market in 2012 will also be displayed at the event as Mazda has introduced two new engines for the car. The new 2.5 liter petrol and 2.2 liter twin turbo diesel engine will offer more performance to the new CX-5 cars in the market. The all new Mazda6 is the most technologically advanced car that offers wide range of features while Mazda3 that is currently being introduced in the United States, Europe and Japan will be later introduced in South Africa in compact sedan and hatchback format using the same technology and vehicle design theme.
